Introduction: These terms and conditions ("Terms") apply to the use of the Sheet Copilot Add-On for Google Sheets (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
-
Use of the Service: The Service is intended for use by authorized users only. You may not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. You must not, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws).
-
User Content: By using the Service, you may provide information, data, text, files, images, or other materials (collectively, "User Content"). You retain all rights in, and are solely responsible for, the User Content you make available through the Service. By making any User Content available through the Service, you grant to us a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, copy, modify, create derivative works based on, distribute, publicly display, publicly perform, and otherwise exploit in any manner such User Content in all formats and distribution channels now known or hereafter devised (including in connection with the Service and our business and on third-party sites and services), without further notice to or consent from you, and without the requirement of payment to you or any other person or entity.
-
Account Security: You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password. We encourage you to use "strong" passwords (passwords that use a combination of upper and lower case letters, numbers, and symbols) with your account. We cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with the above.
-
Modification and Termination of Service: We reserve the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Service (or any part thereof) with or without notice. You agree that we shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.
-
OpenAI: The Service uses OpenAI, which is a large language model (LLM) we use to power the add-on. However, we cannot guarantee the accuracy or completeness of the results provided by OpenAI. You agree that you will use the results provided by OpenAI at your own risk, and that we will not be liable for any errors or omissions in the results provided by OpenAI.
-
Disclaimer of Warranties: The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the operation of the Service, or the information, content, materials, or products included on the Service.
-
Limitations of Liability: In no event shall we be liable for any damages whatsoever, including but not limited to any direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, arising out of or in connection with the use or inability to use the Service or any portion thereof. You agree that our liability to you in any event shall be limited to the amount you paid for the Service, if any.
-
Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the country in which you reside, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.
-
Changes to Terms: We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
-
Usage of your data: We do not store your OpenAI API key on our servers and we collect no usage data. Your entire spreadsheet is never imported to OpenAI, we only ever extract very small samples of your data.
-
Contact Information: If you have any questions about these Terms, please contact us at hello@sheetcopilot.ai.
